Our MD Oliver Alcock visited The Leisure Box in Brierfield today to deliver 250 Easter Eggs to all the children involved with the Easter Activity Camps that have been funded and organised by Burnley FC in The Community.

Burnley FC in the Community is a charity arm of the Burnley Football Club. The organisation provides support and opportunities to individuals and communities in Burnley and surrounding areas. One of its key programs is the delivery of sports camps during school holidays.

The Easter holiday sports camps are designed to engage children in physical activities and promote healthy lifestyles. The camps are open to boys and girls aged 5 to 12 years old.

The Leisure Box Easter activity camps have tons of exciting activities including:

  • Clip N Climb
  • Football
  • Nerf Wars
  • Dodgeball
  • Cricket
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Mini Golf
  • Netball
  • Dancing
  • Easter Egg Hunts

The sports camps are funded and organised by Burnley FC in the Community, which works in partnership with local schools and community groups. The camps are led by qualified coaches and volunteers who are passionate about promoting physical activity and building confidence in children.

Oliver Alcock, the Managing Director of Bowland IT, recently visited one of the Easter holiday sports camps to donate 250 Easter eggs to the children. The donation was greatly appreciated by the children, who were thrilled to receive the sweet treats.

The Easter holiday sports camps are just one of the many programs that Burnley FC in the Community offers. The organisation also provides health and wellbeing programs, education and training opportunities, and community outreach programs.

The donation is an example of the support that Burnley FC in the Community receives from local businesses and individuals. The organisation relies on donations and sponsorship to continue its work, and it’s always grateful for the support it receives.

The organisation’s work has been recognised with several awards, including the Premier League Charitable Fund’s Community Club of the Year award in 2019. The award is a testament to the impact that Burnley FC in the Community is making in the lives of children and communities in Burnley and surrounding areas.

The Easter holiday sports camps organised by Burnley FC in the Community are an excellent opportunity for children to engage in physical activities, learn new skills, and build confidence.
