OUR COMMUNITY FOCUS

Welcome to Bowland IT’s Our Community Focus page, we are proud to support many local charities and local sports groups as possible.  We work with CANW, The Salvation Army, Burnley FC in the Community, Clitheroe Wolves Football Club and Ribble Valley Food Bank.

We recently officially joined The All Onside Partnership with Burnley FC in the Community.  This is the official charity of Burnley Football Club and since 2014 they have been working to positively impact and transform the lives of the people in our local communities. Through their wide range of work across areas including Education & Employability, Community Welfare & Inclusion, Football Development and their thriving portfolio of community facilities – they’ve been working hard to use the power of Burnley FC to inspire, support and deliver positive change for all.  Bowland IT’s Our Community Focus has agreed to support Burnley FC in the Community for the next twelve months at least.

Burnley FC in the Community are looking for more organisations to support their work through a number of partnership opportunities.
In addition to playing an active role in helping the local community, partnering with them offers you the opportunity to align yourself with the official charity of a Premier League football club.

To find out more about Burnley FC in the Community Partnership Opportunities, please contact the Partnerships Executive, Ben Bottomley, on B.Bottomley@burnleyfc.com or call 01282 704716.

SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

We recently supported Child Action North West (also known as CANW) in their recent Easter Egg appeal.  We filled one of our vans with eggs and made a special delivery to their Blackburn office.

CANW passionately believe that every child and young person has the right to achieve their full potential, whatever their background or circumstances – and, as a result, they work with over 6000 children, young people and families in the North West of England every year.  They work in the heart of communities – often in partnership with other organisations – to end family cycles of deprivation, drug and alcohol abuse, lack of self-esteem, youth crime, teenage pregnancies and broken families.

As a result, CANW help to strengthen individuals, families and communities so that children and young people can lead healthy and meaningful lives, with the opportunity to succeed in school, to grow up to enjoy healthy relationships, to have access to training and employment opportunities and to be successful in the world of work.

We are a proud sponsor of Clitheroe Wolves Football Club,
